I didn't realize until well into my project that this vest was actually made with real fox. Ugh! That almost killed me. But the colors of the fir reminded me of the little brown bunnies we used to see in the snow on our property in West Virginia when I was a girl. We lived out on 300 acres and were surrounded by lovely fields, forest and nature. I created my whole scene with that sweet memory in my mind.
My bendi frame was inspired by the bendi fold card. The frame is bowed out like a bowed window and the center bunny is attached to the frame to appear out in front of the scene.

Love this, Kitty!!! Ty for the compliment on my beach bendi!! Your scenes remind me of one of my fave artists, Fanch Ledan. I have several of his serigraphs and love how the both of you use rich colors and make every element pop! You're the best! We're fortunate to have you!
