LOVE IT! I'm going upstairs right now to make one too! Thanks so much for sharing! I can't wait to see how it turns out. Hope it's half as cute as yours!

Hi there
I am so glad you posted! You are the one I cased my little purses from. Your idea with the 5 in 1 template was great! My son is getting married in Aug and my future daughter in law may use this idea for shower invites!
Hey, something else you can use the template to do is to make a basketball backboard. Just look at the large handle. The one we trace around to make the top of the purse!
Anyway, thanks again for your TERRIFIC idea......Vicki

Forums at Splitcoaststampers -- this is the original thread from which I cased the idea..
you will need the 5-in-one envelope template from the spring mini catalogue.. I have also written up some directions for doing the purse without using velcro.. if you want them, let me know.

I love this look! I was wondering what else to do with the template! Where did you use the brad? Thanks for such lovely inspiration! Please email me the directions too! [email protected]

The brad can be utilized two ways... in this sample, it is used to attach a flower punch to the inside gift card pocket. On the brown purse sample (in my gallery).. it is used to attach flowers to the front flap. A second flap disguises/hides the purse handles and is attached to the back of the card.. the flower/punch/brad assembly is then attached to the front flap of the card. When closed, the back flap fits neatly under the flower assembly which serves to hold the card closed.. eliminating the need for velcro dots.
Maggie.. sent you directions, hope you got them ok.
