A card for today's Free For All challenge to use a bit of gold and inspired by a Frost poem. I used two coats of gold embossing ink and powder to glaze the leaf and sentiment die-cuts (3 coats on one or two leaves which seemed to need it) and then popped them up on an embossed lattice bg. If you're trying this with small die-cuts such as these leaves, I suggest using a pair of tweezers - emboss on one end first then, then do the other end. Also, do any curling or bending of the die-cuts before embossing, otherwise the finished product will crack.

Wow, this is an eye-popper! You did an amazing job with the heat embossing - the sentiment is perfectly smooth. Love your design with the simple embossed background and the solid gold die cuts popped-up on top. This will be an inspiration piece for 50th Anniversary cards that I will need to make. TFS your talent!

Wow, Bridget, I know what a lot of work these took and I love how they turned out. Extra coats of gold EP are a tricky job, but you made yours look easy and effortless. This is a gorgeous card!!
