This is just a part of my first sample of inking a real leaf and making a print. My second attempt was worse than the first. And, I have ink up to my elbow! The leaf was from my Bradford Pear tree - the only choice I have.

Aw Val, I'm sorry that you had such a struggle, but I have to say that if this is your first one, I don't know why you tried a second time. No way I'd call this garish! Maybe it's your mention of your pear tree or the colour you've used in with the green, but now I'd just love a good, juicy pear. Hard to find, though!!

I agree with everyone about the mess - and I was running to get a haircut today too!! I guess there is no easy way to ink up real leaves and not get messy, but looking at your card, it was worth it - thanks for sharing your pretty card!!!
