I sponged the bg with distress inks and then stamped leaves in bleach. For some reason this took me forever to make this morning..I keep trying different ways to "remove" color from the bg..I tried a bunch of different mediums: watercolor, gelatos, aqua crayons..but the distress inks worked the best for me. TFL!

You get bonus points for perseverance! I love your finished product. It reminds me we won't have good fall colors as hot and dry as it has been. Your vibrant colors really set off the bleached areas and the squirrel is so cute! Great idea to use the frame to connect your elements, too. One very sweet card!
