This is for several challenges - TLC440 which was to revisit the first 50 technique challenges; this is TLC21, Metal Dry Embossing.
It's for today's IC - the colours in this Cape Hatteras Lighthouse were perfect for the caramels and rusts that I had in mind for a card for TexasGrammy's DTGD challenge, and it's for the current Fluttering or Flying ODBD challenge.
A2 base, polished stone with some rusty caramel colours and Pearl Mixative. I added one dot of blue ink as well. For the TLC, I cut my foil rectangle from sandwich plate, then stamped the lighthouse on the back and embossed it with a stylus. I dabbed it lightly with back acrylic, and used some rub-ons to highlight the light. It's attached with tiny brads. Sentiment is from the same ODBD set, bird is from StarvingArtistamps. Doodled border to finish it off.

I have never created a card using the metal embossing technique. How cool!! Love your added verse, bird and the bright background. Thanks for joining ODBD again this week, Sabrina!!
