Reverse masking is one of my favorite techniques, and I combined it with regular masking to make my card today -- for both the CAS challenge (masking on a one-layer card) and the TLC challenge (tissue stamping). The heron was stamped and masked so that the cattails would appear in forefront. After coloring the images, I used the negative of a Labels 8 diecut and tissue stamped the sky/water areas with several shades of blue TH distress ink. I needed a sympathy card this week, so I added the sentiment.

Oh Lois.....this is.....wow! That stamp is awesome and I love how you did the reverse masking! Such a clean look! I live near a lake and see the blue herons on occasion. They are such majestic birds.
