TAMU Horticulture site was my inspiration for my card. They have a photo of maroon, white, & blue blueonnets (Lupinus texensis). So, I used that to create a card that encompasses both my love for my state and my love for my country! Stamp is from Deadbeat Designs colored with colored pencils edged with Quick Quotes Maraschino Cherry chalking ink! TFL!

Yes, I've never seen bluebonnets in other colours either, although they do get a mauve tint when they are at the end of their bloom. This is a lovely patriotic card.
