For this week's ways-to-use-it challenge- state flower trivia. Wow! What a delicious challenge for this Oregonian! The Oregon Grape, which grows wild (and taller than me!) in the woods in this part of the state, is a unique "flower". NOT one that's usually produced as a stamp, for sure. The dark green foliage resembles holly, so I used a holly die. The tiny clusters of yellow flowers eventually develop into dark purple grape-like clumps on the bush. Anyway, the blooming Oregon grape on a walk in the woods feels like home to me.

Hi Brenda, I am an Oregon girl too and agree with Everything you said about our Oregon Grape state flower. I hope to come up with something later. I love your interpretation. Happy 4th, Nancy

Fantastic card - I love your overall leaves and tiny yellow flowers - this must have taken a bit of time to do! Another flower today that I had not previously heard of!
