Linda asked us to do color blocks for the WT today. She mentioned acrylic blocks as a possibility. I latched on to that one since, on the whole, I am not fond of color blocking. By using various acrylic blocks(you may be able to see the scoring showing from one of the blocks...that was intentional), inking them up and then misting with water, I achieved a softer more watercolor-y look.

Sallie your background is phenomenal love the colors and the way you used the acrylic blocks. I really love the textured paper in the background also gorgeous creation!

That new SU cs looks amazing, Sallie! I love your rendition of the color blocking; so subtle and beautiful! I need to get some flower silhouette stamps. I keep seeing such gorgeous cards lately (just like yours) using them~

Wow, what's NOT to like! I love your color blocking and the way you layered it! The colors are wonderful, and the textured background paper is the perfect final touch!
Simply beautiful! I love the image panel but you put it on the textured paper and it just makes it stand out. Then the twine is a great touch. Nice card Sallie.
