Read this week that a dear lady from the church I grew up in passed away. Made this card for her sons.
This is a CASE of this beauty by stampinandrea and is my first attempt at doing a "Zindorf" card.
I changed up the stamp set, changed the style and location of the sentiment and added some birds in my sky. I also changed up some of the colors I used for sponging my sky.
Finished card is 5.75"H x 4.5"W.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend from church. Your card is wonderful and I am sure it will mean so much to her sons. The colors are beautiful! Your sky is stunning, the golden color is amazing! Your water is incredible! The blue with the highlights of white, Wow! It just looks so real! I didn't see this during the week, but it is easy to see why it is listed on so many favorites for the week. I agree with Loll, you must be a natural and I hope you will make more!!!
I'm very sorry for your loss. This is a beautiful card and I would like to case it, but am having problems with the inking. How do you make the water look like that?

Basically you mask where the water should be and you drag your inkpad across the open area. You will get "skippers" that make it look like ripples in the water. I used this tutorial to make my card.
