I'm probably stretching the boundaries of the challenges but I'll take a risk that they fit in.
This is my very first watercolor painting. The details:
I used regular old paper shelf paper, cut into strips of different widths and lengths, then ironed it onto the watercolor paper, shiny side down (so it's a mask). Then I did my watercolor wash, using lots of water and letting the colors flow. After it was dry, I removed the shelf paper strips, touched up a bit with gesso where the paints bled under the shelf paper, edged one side of the 'birch trees' with the Micron pen (MIX1 and then doodled (WT429) the birch tree markings.

A brilliant idea, and your birch trees turned out fantastic. Your doodling is awesome. I love birch trees, but don't have a stamp. You've shown me a way to make them that can also be used with sponges. Thank you!
