Today's IC challenge takes us to Godiva chocolates, yum. I was wishing for those truffles! I'm a sucker for browsing recipes and when I saw the "Recipes" category, I couldn't resist taking a look. My card was inspired by this:
I made this card for my sweet Mom who had surgery Thurs. morning, came home Fri. afternoon, and two hrs later, was rushed by ambulance to the ER. She is still in ICU, and they expect her to be there for at least a couple more days. In the last eight hrs, which she said feels like it has been days, she has made a "tiny" bit of progress. The drs. are optimistic, though they did tell her, that she has a loooong road ahead. Some of you, particularly my TPT sisters, know that my wonderful Mom has been through so very much these last years and most recently. I'm praying with every fiber of my being that she is strong enough to walk down one more road. I can't imagine life without her, nor can my Dad. Your good thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Huggles.
And ...thank you for looking at my card today!
