I love today's sketch and I still had some sentiments out that I'd thought would work well with the chalkboard technique (tell me I'm not the only one who gets obsessed with techniques!). I decided to work ahead and get a card ready for my son's upcoming college graduation. Brag alert-my oldest DS is only 20yo and completed his college degree in December and will walk with his graduating class in May. Just a little proud as a home-schooling mom of how well my oldest 2 have done in their college years.
Now, back to the card! Stamped the sentiment in Versamark, embossed in white and sponged on some "chalk smears" in White craft ink. I sponged a bit of black onto the edges of the 2nd panel. Cut a top note die in black for the 3rd piece. The base is stamped with the graduation hats off image then embossed in TH Notebook ef. I rounded the corner that is rounded on the ef. I added a couple of Jolee graduation stickers to complete the look. I think I'll make a couple more of these for some of his friends who're graduating too.
