Mary(octoberbabe) was selected by Trish to be our Queen this week. Mary has a lovely gallery and is a stamper who leaves kind comments for many others. I chose this CARD to CASE. I believe Mary's is a OLC while mine has several layers. I also changed the base color and kept my stamping within the oval.
Dawn asked us to use our favorite colors for the F4A. Sage Shadow was my all-time favorite SU color(sadly, it is no more). My camera/lighting does not like it as much as I do since color reproduction is always "off". It is a dulled medium aqua color. I like to combine it with browns and a touch of green.
Congratulations, Mary.....enjoy your week in the spotlight.

Sallie this is beautiful.........sigh. So soft and comforting. I like Sage Shadow too, that's why I stocked up when I heard they were going to retire it. I love what you did with the image. I feel like I am gazing through a mist. Thank you so much for playing along today and for your kind words. Hugs!!

Beautifully done, Sallie, the silhouette and bg are so softly done, your card has a subtle, serene look that's so appealing - and I never knew that sage shadow could be so appealing either!
