I'm embarrassed to use this older JR Birthday Wishes Set, but it's the only one I have so far. I love their stamp sets as they can be so versatile. I watercolored the image and used crystal effects on the glass and wine for a shiny effect.
The sketch is fairly easy, it's just what special touches you add to it that make the difference. I started out with a whole other color and dp card and had to scratch it b/c I couldn't make it work.
I happened to be at AudreyAnn's house and I was talking about this card; and, when I came home, I was immediately able to find the finishing touches I wanted to use. My favorite part is the silver metal flower on the top left corner, which Audrey just happened to give me, which I topped with a paper flower. I also had the brainstorm to use the pleated SU ribbon which just happened to match the green panels I had. It just seemed to all come together.
I used my favorite En Francais B/G stamp for all panels, used MS fan deco border punch for the bottom, and decided to add an array of little silver pearls to accent the metal flower. I added a small prima flower to the right bottom corner, sparkled up the MS pine branch punch with DD and added little tiny silver pearls to that too. Image and backing popped up on dimensionals. I coordinated the inside with the front of the card.
That's it and I'm so glad I was able to work this out as I really wanted to join the challenge.

That silver metal flower looks so amazing, Pam! I love the silver accents to make it all tie in, and your pink flowers look perfect with the wine color! Beautiful French bg and banners; not sure who will receive this pretty card, but it sure brought out the creativity in you! Wish I could have been at Audrey's house.......

This is gorgeous! Love the bg paper you made, the sentiment and image are absolutely wonderful for a birthday - they would make someone feel very special. Your metal flower was the perfect addition. How wonderful you could spend time at Audzi's house - I am sooo jealous. Do you still have that spy camera - I look very green right now - LOL! Hugz!
