Sabrina, (Cook22)! Many congrats, and BIG (((hugs))) to you this week's FS. Sabrina's work always draws me in, and she has always been close to my heart. She is dear to my family as well. She knit a sweater for my first grandchild, Jon, and has been so supportive and loving in her comments. Not to mention her incredible talent! Sweet friend, best wishes to you as you soak this day in. Hope you feel loved, because you are!
Today I chose this card, because it was too perfect for the image I colored (and re-colored) last night. I love Sabrina's framing and the sweet subject matter. I used different images and paper, but kept her design, and cuttlebugged the designer paper, and used decorative corners as well. I used Crystal Effects to make the phone pop, and a larger pearl for the dial.
This is also my response to Katie, who invited me to make a Jammer Town thank you card to get our juices flowing again. Yeah...Jammer Town, it's a good place! Here's what all the phone chatter is about:
Girl, I really can't talk right now, seems I came down with Pinterest fevah. Yes, it has me all bothered. I can't cook. I can't clean. I can hardly get my pining fingers to do anything but pin, including getting dressed. Yeah, did you see all those cards over there? And recipes? And home goods. I even learned how to apply make-up, from bed. Now to get the Drumstick droppings outta these sheets...I think there's a pin for that too. Oh, it's all there girl. It is a total Jammer Town day! How delish! Gotta go, thanks for the chat.... LYMI
JT Challenge, make a thank you card, with jammers! Wanna play? Add Jammer Town to your key words.
Thanks for looking. Now, back to Pinterest....Mercy!

Ooooo, Pat, your Jammers got you into some fantastic paper piecing - love the girly look to her bedroom setting - lovely blues, flourishes, pearls, and oo-la-la, those nesties!! Using the lacey trim with the velvet ribbon takes it all up a notch, Sis - you have outdone yourself on this wonderfully feminine peek at what your Jammertown days are like!! HAHAHA! Now you have to add the laptop, tuned into Pinterest for her to peek at!

Ah look! Back in the saddle, and from bed no less. Did you make your beautiful, soft blue beauty from there too? I'll bet Mr. Buckle was kept busy bringing you supplies!! You sure can dress up those rubbah romance ladies, sistah. This is as lacy and feminine as it gets. Every detail is paper pieced and floralized perfection. (love how we can make up understandable crafters words and all know what they mean;)))
