Several reasons for this card: To honor Polly, our newest Queen For This Week. She has a very unique style for creating cards. She uses so many layers and items on her cards to tell a story. I decided to make a collage (my way) in hopes this at least depicts a lil of her style. I could never match a Polly card, so I won't even try!WT354 Mauve Botanical by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers Second: For today's F4A challenge to use leaves, and Last but certainly not least: An anniversary card for my husband (next Friday-38 years). : )
I stamped the wording in Sahara Sand, then proceeded with the leaves in Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron. I didn't like the Saffron so I went back and stamped over them with More Mustard. The sentiment & bee were stamped in Always Artichoke. I also sponged the edges with Artichoke and Sand, sponged the leaves with different colors and some sand on the light parts of the cs. Thank you for stopping by, and Polly, enjoy your royal reign this week! ~Roberta
