When I was rummaging through my vast stash of fabric, prepping for this week's CAS challenge, I found a scrap left from sewing my high school prom dress. Very old. Late sixties. Very fine fabric-- embossed peau de soie, which ravels like crazy. Silly me, I didn't think to use a fusible stabilizer before attaching it to a xyroned card base, so of course it started shedding threads! I put that one aside and did one with stabilized cotton.
So, today, I picked up the prom dress card base and turned it into this week's sketch challenge card. Tie a sloppy yarn bow over the frayed section-- Who will know??!~

Oh goodness! I know just what you mean about the peau de soie & raveling. You must have an abundance of patience! ;) Your card is lovely & allows a nice showing of that fabby fabric!
