Marker Pop Challenge 4 is to use bright colors. The TSC0817 tendered by Irishgreensue was to make a card with a fond childhood memory - and use a little green! I have so many fond childhood memories and mostly I was a tomboy - but some of us did play dress-up with our Mom's clothes. My Mom had a closet dedicated to just dress-ups for us - evening gowns - which we tried to wear but fell out of and over, shoes, purses, dresses, etc.! So, we used hats, shoes, purses, make-up - and one of the girls' Moms even had a special big box of "fun jewelry" for us to use. Rainy days - we would spend hours pretending, changing outfits, etc. - fun memories!
Thanks for looking!

What a cutie-patootie...:0). I had forgotten a bit about that ....till you reminded us of that. My grandma had a old tickle trunk...I thought of it like Mr. Dressups..:0). My cousins and I would go upstairs, and play dressup too. Old funny clothes, but we thought they were the cats meow..such fun times...thanks again for your story and reminding us of that memory too...
This is such a sweet way to remember that with this little one...you colored her so well and the frame is just so sweet for her...TFs..:0)

So sweet Kathy - adorable image, fun die cuts, and great memories. I dressed up a lot too as a child but didn't have all the fun stuff you had to spark your imagination. I especially love your sentiment. My youngest DD is 17 and she is so ready to be out on high school and grown up that all her conversations involve this statement these days. She told me yesterday that her next car would need to be a sports car as it would be the last fun car she would have because after that she would be grown up with children. Love the card and the memory you shared. Hugz!!!

This is so cute. Great coloring on that sweet little image. Your story was great. You just seemed to fit in on all the fun stuff in your neighborhood. What fun to have a designated closet for dress up.
Kathy this is so darned cute! I love it all colored in the green. I forgot that part of the challenge. I think all of us little girls loved to play dress up.
