After several days of being stuck in the house with a sick child, I finally get him off to day camp. I'm feeling a little paniced because I have so much to do. The house is a mess, the laundry basket is overflowing, and I have no groceries, not even ketchup. So what's the first thing I do? Make a card!! After a few days of crafting time, I've been bitten by the stamping bug again!
I'm a bit intimidated by techniques, so I chose the simple embossing resist/stippled background. I stamped my image, overstamped and embossed the snowflakes, then stippled over it and wiped with a dry cloth. I had to spong a bit around the image because I didn't want to get ink on my snow-covered trees~
Thanks for the fun challenge this week, Judy!!!

It's so easy to get into the stamping mood, even when we don't need any cards! Just too fun to get creative! Your blue cs is beautiful with the embossing and those trees are so gorgeous! You did a great job with this challenge, now go get some ketchup~ : )

I love your card - so elegant! Love all the techniques, each element turned out beautifully. And, how wise of you to pull yourself back together with taking the time out to make such a creative card!
