Judy's challenge today was to use a technique tutorial from Resources to create our own backgrounds.
I chose to try Heated Pearls. And as always, with a fancy background it's hard to cover it all up, so I left as much on show as possible .
A2 black base.
I did the Heated Pearls on black card.
The moon is embossed with Spots and Dots and sponged with Antique Linen.
The rocket is from Pun Fun, coloured with distress inks, and the flame is a Flourish Accent from Spellbinders. I added some galaxies with little silver stars.

WOW...what an outstanding bg. Love the little stars you tucked in and the moon is inspired, Sabrina. The bg reminds me of a Jackson Pollack painting. Really a TERRIFIC card.

This gave me the CHILLS! I've been watching that Curiousity Rover land on Mars today and thinking how inspiring space exploration is and then I click over to this! I love this surface treatment - it's perfect for this image!!

PHENOMENAL...WOW, WOW, WOW! Your background looks like a oil painting...what a fathomless sky out in the beyond! Love your embossed and distressed moon...that bg just speaks volumes!
