MaryR gave us the following colors which, indeed, are very "Christmasy":
very vanilla
cherry cobbler
gumball green
She suggested we make a Christmas card. As you can see, I skipped the option in favor of a summertime card. I was in a local craft/home decorating store today and was completely turned off by the copious amounts of Christmas stuff they already had for sale. Guess it is about "making a buck"....can't start too early. : )

Edited to add: Mary R raised a good point: These stores are also sources of supplies to those who make things to sell at craft fairs and the like....they need to get going now. So true!

What a gorgeous card Sallie!! I love the striped paper and your diecut. The image is wonderful too, and the red stripe is awesome with the cherries. A really standout card.

this is such a pretty card Sallie-the colors look great in this summery card- love the memory box die-looks like lace-in defense of the local craft store-some people sell their christmas crafts at shows and you need to start early making them-so supply availabilty is important-just my 2 cents worth

Cherries! What a perfect image for this color combination - your coloring is beautiful and I love the dsp and die you used. P.S. I'm so not into seeing all the Christmas stuff in the stores yet, either. It depresses me! I want to enjoy the season I'm in!
