Congrats to Laura! Such a wonderful gallery! I chose her fun, Hoppy Helloto case. I kept her layout and use of a fun creature image, but changed the images, the colors and added a brayered, punched strip instead of stamping on the card front.
For my watery blue band, I used a brayer and a blue rainbow pad to add the color. Then I dropped some water from a little paintbrush for more of the watery look. When it dried, I stamped the little bubbles with permanent black ink.
The happy octopus was colored, cut out and I added some googlie eyes to him. He's inside a circle frame I used Spellbinders circle dies to cut and stamped the greeting twice around it. I added some very small dew drop like bubbles for a little extra something. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Love those dew drops that look like bubbles. LOVE the colors you picked and this is just SUCH a fun card! Your punched strip has such an ocean like feel to it...you are such an artist. Always a pleasure to see what you have come up with "this time"!
