You are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind, a country kinda mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination, with spurs and lassos, horses and real men- Godly Men. Next stop, the ! And also, a dimension of time travel- back to October 19, 2011.
Aaaack! The doorbell! It's the doorbell! A quietness falls over the normally paper strewn home. Allate Pain and The Grinder draw their weapons in preparation to protect this most precious woman. She must be sheltered, for her skills are many and her heart is tender. She is the Encourager to all, even the Cheaters! And a QTEA to boot (cowboy boot, that is) ....What ever could it be?
Imagine this, a woman, scantily dressed in a black & white polka dotted apron, the pockets full of brads. She answers her door, holding a cat named Rocky in one hand, and a Teapot made of paper in the other. Her home is tastefully decorated in a most appropriate Southwestern style, and the smell of Newbie Cookies are wafting through the air. She is writing her memoirs, The Polky Dotted Times, crafting a story as no one else can. And then it happens.....the doorbell. And there he is! The POSTIE! Aaaaaack! And, what did he deliver? Yes...THE MAN, the WWW MAN, IRL. (Ok, ok, so I am late...that is another dimension completely! The SLACKER ZONE!)
This very late birthday greeting is for Cindy (Mothermark), who happens to share my passion for cowboys, and in particular, paper cowboys. When I saw this card by Vickie Y, I knew it was the one! (Thanks for your inspiration Vickie!) Now, I ask you, what is more attractive than a Godly Man? Not much! I loved pairing my two favorite stamps for Cindy.
MudderMark, I loves you girl- and your heart for others. Thank you for all you are- sweet, funny, creative, and a loyal friend. You are a tremendous blessing to this gallery, and I am blessed to call you Friend. Happy Birthday and a half! (((Hugs, Bugs, Snugs and Snorts)))
Psst...I am gonna start your Christmas card now.....

I'm much too young to know what the Twilight Zone is Patty Cakes - LOL! Your story is hilarious and your card a cowboy masterpiece. You can combine Da Man with anything from flowers to scripture. No one else can do that. And, yes, that is some TALL TALE you wrote. When Da Man is involved we all seem to get lost in his escapades. He's kind of like Flat Stanley, been all over the world; but, he's a HUNK unlike Flat Stanley. Sooo much fun Pat. I'm luvin' it!

OK girl. You had me completely cornfuzzled. I saw a card in the gallery and said to me little ol' self "Why, that looks like a Mimi Pat card". And then I saw it was by some imposter called "Blooms in a Box". And then I did a little bit of digging with my super-sleuth skills and VOILA! It is Mimi Pat! Love your new name but I know I will still stop in my tracks a couple more times before it sinks in who it is that has so masterfully captured your truly amazing style of creating the most amazing artwork out of paper. What a gorgeous card for MM - a real treasure for her. It's beautiful both inside and out - just like the person who created it.
