What a positively gorgeous card this is.... Pine Bows and Pinecones by kittie747 at Splitcoaststampers I attempted to case it......I did a slightly different pinecone though, as kitties pinecones were one thing that inspired me to try them. I'd seen them in my flower making book and hadn't got around to making them. So, when I saw this lovely card I thought I'd case it and try my hand at the pine cones. They are made with a small pear punch. I had no gum paste so I used my glue gun. That made it a bit tricky. I used a Marianne Design leafy branch underneath the Martha Stewart punched branches. MS flower punch with small pearls in center of larger ones. Bird is McGill punch and then Spellbinder fancy tag with Stampendous sentiment. After all that, my pinecones don't show up too well. Oh well, I can put them down as 'tried' now. Have a super day. TFL. : )
Thank you to all the awesome card creaters who don't mind a case-ing of their cards for those of us who sometimes get 'stuck' as to what to do next.... or we simply love a card so much we have to give it a go. : )
