I'm all for compromise and seeing both sides of the story, so my card aims to show the Jumbaliahs that there's room for vertical and horizontal, room for referees and players. Neither would perform to their best without the other, after all .
So funny that it's a fishing story this week - I was only looking at the stamp of Snoopy sitting on the dock fishing this week and thinking it was time I added it to my collection for the next time the Tuesday Tea Party went fishin'.
5 3/4" square base, sponged with black.
Papers are Basic Grey Lime Rickey. After sticking the striped triangle onto the blue one I set a brass eyelet in each corner and threaded the ribbon through. I'd hoped to add a red bead in the centre but no go...
Fish and seaweed (yes, it is actually stamped on the stained-glass paper) are from Pink Cat Studio. The fish were stamped on Bristol Board with Versafine Black. JJ was coloured with black paint, and SJ was just sprayed with water and sponged with distress inks to match the paper - with a wobbly eye added.
I know it's autumn - do I ever, as I look at the rain and grey sky - but I'm packing some Derbyshire Easter Spiced Cake in my lunch box, as it's tasty and isn't likely to crumble packed into the lunch box as we sit by the lake and fish.

Very nice card! I like your fishies and the paper you used looks fantastic. You come up with some unique, cool ribbon treatments, too. This one looks super on this card.
Sabrina this is cute. I like how you did the ribbon. Is the blue paper the fan letterpress? Cool papers. Hey I'll bring some fried apple pies to go with your cake. We need someone to bring some coffee. You'll probably want tea. See you at the lake.

I love the way you used your papers and the ribbon on the diagonal. It is such an intricate and eye catching card, and yet just as manly as can be. Had to favorite it cuz it is certainly a great inspiration for next time I need a manly card.

Fun way to do this! Now you can come in the front or the back which can come in handy these days! Love your fish and the different scenes - smart thinking.
