I'm sure I have a freebie bird cage somewhere, but I've gone for having this little Imaginisce bird break out through the netting in her garden .
A2 base stamped with Inspired by Nature in Versafine Olympia Green, embossed with clear EP and then sponged with Peeled Paint distress stain.
For the image panel I stamped and masked the bird with Versafine Black, then stamped and masked the flowers and some leaves. Masked off part of the bottom and stamped the chicken wire with Versamark and embossed with silver EP. I cut the panel with Labels 1.Coloured the panel with distress inks, and added a little gem to the flower and some Stickles to the centres of the flowers, and then edged with a black pen. Punched butterfly has some hearts, but I couldn't fit a ribbon on the card, not nohow!! If I could make room in the freezer I'd be bringing along some Baileys and chocolate chip icecream, but that's another not nowhow just now .

Oh my Sabrina, this is so pretty! I thought at first you had actually used real chicken wire. I still thought it even after reading you eb it with silver. Your birdie and flower are just as sweet as can be. Love the bg you did. Such a fabulous card. WOWZERS big time! TFS :0)

Lots of wonderful elements in this card, but that chicken wire is the crowning touch -- and very clever how you only stamped it on part of the paper so you could fit in the bird.

Oh Sabrina... this is just precious! Love the little window into your birdie's world... it's such an endearing scene! It looks so real I feel as if I could poke my fingers thru the chicken wire!
