I needed to make a masculine card for my son's b-day. He'll be 27 on 7/25. All the stamps I have aren't really what he's into, so I decided on a generic HB sentiment as the main image.
I heat embossed the main image, placed on 2 nesties and added some buttons with thread. I used a MS vine punch b/t the layers of dp and very vanilla. Dry embossed using distressed stripes ef on the lower panel. Added 2 word window punches with brads and that was it. Couldn't think of anything else to add to this masculine card. I want my FLOWERS and RIBBON!!!
This also fits the DD challenge to use stripes, stars or polka dots on your card. I used stripes!
Thanks for taking a look and have a great day.

Great guy card! I love the way that you balanced the DP with the texture The buttons, brads and punched elements are all just right. Happy Birthday HUGZ to DS. (Now go make a flowery girly blingy card to soothe your nerves!) Love that new avitar...looking fine Pamzi!

Hot Babe, foxy lady, movie star, and Kookzi seein' halos! My goodness you have stolen the limelight from Princess Kate with that new avatar of yours! Looks like a Summer Fruitflake to me... And hey, your card looks pretty darn fine too! My DS will be 27 in January...doesn't seem that long ago that he was just a wee thing. Have a great day Fruitflake. RYPH!!
