It's surprised me how much I enjoyed making this - thank you so much for the challenge.
It reminds me of a large round filigree pin set with paste stones that my mother got in an antique shop, hence my title. I should take a photo of them both together, come to think of it...
5 2/3" square cream base, stamped with Very Vintage in Versafine Sepia. Edges sponged with Walnut Stain and Weathered Wood distress inks.
Paper doily sponged with Forest Moss.
Foliage is Spellbinder's Foliage for the bronze leaves and Sizzix for the green sprays.
Flowers were a birthday gift.
Sentiment stamped on cream card with Sepia, cut with oval Nestabilities, edges distressed and sponged with Walnut Stain and Forest Moss. I inked up Linen with some Weathered Wood and Forest Moss and stamped it over the sentiment, and then popped it up on foam, adding three pearls.

I know just the kind of pin you are referring to. We had them here in the 50's and the flowers were a translucent plastic that kind of looked like frosted glass. Love this card.
