Wendy's challenge today was to use old un-inked stamps. Well, I don't mind admitting that I didn't buy this so much to have the image (not easy for me to colour) but because the Kodomo Zigen stamps were such beautiful objects themselves, and they were going out of business. I have five on display on a shelf in my room - this is the only one that hasn't seen any ink till now.
Base is 7"x5" with a black line drawn round the edge. I sponged the whole base with Tumbled Glass and a bit of Scattered Straw, masked the edges and then stamped an Autumn Leaves flourish to echo the waves.
Image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with re-inkers. I added a little Stickles to the curling edges of the waves - see inset detail. Edges distressed and the image panel popped up on foam.
If I'm lucky DH will like this for his dad for Father's Day.

Sabrina, you are a true artist. I love this graceful image and so glad it has now seen ink! Bless your heart- I love your work!
