Hmm - this was meant to be an anniversary card but I have a feeling DH wouldn't like it, so it's back to the drawing board on that front.
I took this Sparrow Stacking Ring for y inspiration.
A2 base. Paper is Kodomo Inc, lightly over-stamped with En Francais in Antique Linen, and stitched around with a metallic thread.
Flower is Spellbinders Rose Creations and Foliage, sponged to colour and edged with a gold pen. I added a punched stamen centre with Stickles and a tiny gem.
Bird from Carte Postale stamped and embossed with gold EP and popped up on foam. Unknown foam star stamp stamped straight on the paper and embossed with gold.
TFL.

Sabrina, everything here is gorgeous, but for me the flower is a stand out - it looks like a delicate porcelain blossom.
p.s. I think anniversary cards are a bit of a challenge - after all, they go to a couple - so I feel I have to avoid both too frilly and too masculine. That being said, I think it would be lovely for an anniversary.
