Jo aka Reddydyisco is one amazing stamper! I have enjoyed her classic but unique style since joining SCS. She often includes a gorgeous bow and her impeccable sponging in her design. Jo's cards are sophisticated, elegant and well thought out. This is why I am thrilled that she this weeks Featured Stamper. Her gallery is full of wonderful cards (including many in my faves) and I chose this one to CASE: Reddyisco:CC317 by Reddyisco at Splitcoaststampers
I stamped the image from Flourishes in Basic Brown on Fourishes cream CS then filled in and colored with Copics. Sponged with Bamboo Leaves, Distress Moss, Desert Sand and brown, then matted in brown. Stamped and colored the birdhouse image, cut and ran a length of linen thread "over" one of the branches and popped on glue dot. Cut a 5 1/2" square card and added some BG Marrekech DP in a skewed fashion to mimic Jo's layout. Mounted the image panel and a SU Riding Hood Red bow. Stamped the sentiment on a cream scrap, sponged punched and matted with more brown. This card also fits today's Way to Use It challenge as well as the Flourishes 3 in a Row Challenge - scallops, ribbon and pearls - check that out here: http://flourishes.org/blog/page/3/ PT - 2
Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Marie......I`m late too!!! Life called me away from my craft room again. Anyway......you are so sweet with your wonderful, encouraging words.....you humble me....and your card is absolutely fabulous. I LOVE how you took the design and made it your own. Your bow is absolutely spectacular and your branch and bird images are just too sweet. Thanks for playing, Marie....and see you in the gallery!!!
