Today's Featured Stamper, Jo (reddydyisco), has a lovely gallery. It took me a long time to pick a card since there were so many choices. I have been wanting to try a card with emboss resist and sponging inside a shape so I selected this card:
This was such a pretty card - wish I had her images. I used patterned paper for the bg panel and used a pre-embossed cardstock (it was a mistake because it interfered with my embossing and stamping and made things kind of jumbled up and shaded strange). I also added some punched sprigs to hide my awful bow tying technique.
I think I would try this again - it was fun. Thanks for the inspiration Jo and may you enjoy this special day!

Awful bow? Cardmaking is kind of the opposite of faith. It's not what you can't see but what you can see . This is such a spectacular CASE of Jo...I really don't think that the texture messed anything up, rather it gave the panel some really interesting dimension. I love everything about this, TFS.

This is wonderful! Love the sparkle on the leaves and the embossing you used! Lovely case.

How unique and alluring this image is. I love that it is distressed and sparkles and shines. The subdued tones makes this so serene and peaceful. What a gorgeous card.
