This card is going to Bobby, a young man who is recovering from being badly burned in an accident. He loves sports and coaching kids in his community. You can learn more about it here .
The other day when I was at JoAnn's I actually got lucky for once and found several full sets of TPC and Inkadinkado Acrylic stamps on clearance for $0.97each and had a 10% off everything coupon on top of that. :-) And guess what kind of stamps - yup! sports!! Usually I'm there just before or just after the sale. LOL I can also use the stamps one of these days when I get a chance to sit down and do my son's sports scrapbook.
I cut 3 strips of Neenah white paper, stamped and colored with Copics the images on each strip. I colored the images with Versamarker and heat embossed. Then stamped the sports balls, rubbed off the ink on the embossing, colored with copics and also clear embossed. Colored the backgrounds with Copics. Used the ticket punch on the Navy and Dusty Durango corners and popped up the images, then mounted all on dp. Cut 2 strips of Navy and DD, added the letter stickers and metallic dots and called it done. No white gel pen on this one - haven't done that in a while. LOL
