My 1st chance to stamp in a week, so of course I chose a CAS challenge, so my card could be done quickly, but nicely. This weeks CAS106 was a sketch inspired by NancyK. It was a great chance to use some of my new toys from the Occasions Mini. I used the new Easter Blossoms set stamping the gorgeous cherry blossom branch and the Springtime Smiles sentiment. What was really fun was using the new Specialty Paper 1st Edition, which is a lighter weight DP with encyclopedia styled newsprint in black and v. vanilla. It is a great weight for scrunchy type flowers :-) This is my 1st time ever to use newsprint as I could NEVER tear up even an old unused book. It was the weight and subject matter on this paper that really appealed to me. I just LOVE the results :-) So clean and crisp.
Thanks Jen and Nancy for another great challenge.

Wow, this is super gorgeous. Just love the vintage feel of this in black and white with the dictionary DSP. I noticed you somehow found a page talking about cherry blossoms- nice touch. All elements flow flawlessly on this one.
