I remember when I was young while visiting my grandma on her farm in Nebraska, I heard a dog barking. He was causing such a ruckus. I ran out to see what the heck was going on. Well, to my surprise what did I see?.....none other than Larry, Curt's long-horned little cousin with three green horned owls sitting on his horns! Yikes!.....an me with out a camera. Good think I have a great memory. hehe........
Well you have probably already figured it out, today is Teapot Tuesday . It is all about owls, in case you were wondering why the gallery was full of them.....my card....
I drew the bg on a white cs panel, sponged the hills, colored the rest with w/c pencils no water. Drew Larry and the green horned owls. The German shepherd is from CHF. You see, Marie, who is our destination station, once had a German shepherd so I thought it would add a special touch to the card. Hope his barking doesn't keep her up! hehe Oh, colored Larry with w/c pencils no water, green horned owls and German Shepherd with copics.
Popped up parts of the critters when I put them on the scene. Layered with black cs then put on a green card.
Well that is pretty much it. Hope your day is going well. It is getting dark and stormy looking out side. Rain is a comin'! .........TFL :0)

Larry, you are such a handsome boy! I am so glad you are tolerating that German shepherd's barking. Well, the saying goes, you mess with the bull, you get the horns, but you must be a trained therapy cow to be so still and patient to allow 3 gorgeous green horned owls to use your horns as a perch. Mutnik you are great! Thank you.

Your memory served you well. Mine seems to escape me..:( This turned out great.. I love the addition of the addition of the doggy.. I was going to do a dog card instead of owl but figured out that I needed to challenge myself.. Great job. Send us some rain. It is so dry here...

Now that is a memory! Larry seems to have taken this "unusual" happening in his stride but the german shepherd, not so much. Who needs a camera when you can recreate the scene so well.

Before even getting to your card I was trying to figure out how Curt was going to fit into this challenge.....and I am not disappointed...how perfect that he becomes a perch for the hooters......fabulous, as always

Pleased to meet cha Larry, finally a real male in this family!! Larry is one handsome longhorn bull or maybe he is a steer!! Yea!! Love Larry's longhorns and cute little owls perching on them. Amazing the owls are not afraid of that big dog!! AWESOME card, as usual, Cathy!!
