When I saw that we needed owls for the party this week I got out the most owls I could .
Still experimenting with the best way to colour this detailed Impression Obsession stamp. This time I stamped it with Versafine Black on Bristol Board and embossed with clear EP. I used DH's daylight bulb and magnifier to paint the trees and snowy owls with H2Os. For the sky I used watercolour pencils, and then added stickles to the stars. I layered it onto orange paper and stuck into my shadow box.
Shadow box made as per tutorial in the TLC challenge this week, using Basic Grey June Bug. It seemed to be a variation on a couple of standard origami moves, so I found it came together easily.
As this card isn't really suitable for the destination station I have another card for Marie, DH has bagged this for a friend.
What else should I bring other than Hoot Owl cookies .

Sabrina, you brought a whole forest of owls to the teaparty!! Fabulous use of different elements to create this scene, and I totally love this shadow box card - those BG dp's are so perfect for it.

I am so happy you made this card and have it earmarked for your hubby's friend with cancer! I love these 42,000 owls in a forest at night! I can just hear them all hootin in harmony! This could be a very noisy card!
Its' precious Sabrina and a whole bunch of work! Those little white owls are precious! Off to see the outside part!
Oh, Shari got your card yesterday! She was so tickled to get a card from Ireland! It made her day! Thanks for that....

Beautiful shadow box card. Love that Impression Obsession stamp. I can see where all the detail would take a bit, but your finished card is worth it. Bet it looks even more gorgeous IRL with H2O's.

Sabrina, this is just outstanding! I am an owl lover so when I spied this I gasped. Fabulous work on the embossing & coloring as well as the design of the box itself. You outdid yourself on this project.
