Can you believe I don't have a single cherry stamp? I think there's a scrap of paper somewhere, but once a cook, always a cook so my next stop was to bake a fresh cherry pie with the pick of Jerry's crop. That should get him ahead of Chantrey etc, although by rights I suppose I should be rooting for the French side .
A2 base. Background is RubberNecker's Ticking, stamped with black on white, edges rounded. Lacy Square cut from a scrap of Bazzill Bling. Image and sentiment stamped on white card. The pie was coloured with distress inks (Soot Black, Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw) with Glossy Accents on the pie dish and a quick brush with Bronze Perfect Pearls to add some glaze to the pie-crust. Sentiment cut with Labels 10, sponged with Brilliance Poppy. A Sizzix foliage spray had cherry blossoms added, and I added tiny gems to the sentiment. This will head to CO this week.
Of course you know I brought cherry pie along for you all .

Your pie looks scrumptious, and the pie pan matches da Mudder's teapot perfectly. Love your background ticking stamp and those cherry blossoms are so real looking - makes me want to reach out and smell their sweet spring time fragrance.

Ahhh, the aroma of warm baked cherry pie, fresh from the oven... You've got the blossoms too! A dollop of ice cream on the side and I'm in heaven. This is a pretty card, Sabrina, I sure like your blossoms, while the bg reminds me of a dress from so many years ago!

YUM-Cherry Pie-I'll have a HUGE slice, warm, no ice cream! I've already had one slice, but shoot these have ZERO calories, so I'm just eating away! LOVE everything about your card and I noticed the likeness to the teapot right away!

Beautiful and how clever of you to bake a pie. You can cram a lot more cherries in that pie than we can put on a card. Love that black and white pie pan.

This is so pretty!! I love the background and the cherry blossoms too. I'll bring some ice cream.....lets cut the pie. Do we have to wait...I want it warm with the ice cream melting on top. Hmmmmm
Now I am hungry and we are experiencing -12 degree weather today so I'm not too eager to go shopping for ice cream!!! Beautiful card. tfs.
