Hi! This card was made for todayÂ’s Sketch Challenge.
What a weekÂ…IÂ’m serious. ItÂ’s been ridiculous! Actually, it all started when Markie decided to wait until the last minute to start working on his History Fair Project. Oh, and itÂ’s only 50% of his grade! He and Mark put in 53 hours of work between Friday and Monday night on the project. Today, Markie came home from school with the INSTRUCTIONS for the project. Yes, it seems that the Marks did all that work for NOTHING! The entire project was to have less than 500 words used on the project board! They had done so much work that they had to start all over this evening. And, believe it, it took them 7 hours. ThatÂ’s a total of 60 hours. On a project that should have taken less than 5!!!!
So, IÂ’m stamping this evening. I wanted to participate in a challenge this week, as IÂ’ve been so consumed with work. I miss stamping every day, and have vowed to stamp at least one card a day from now on. I need this time to relax!
These images are from the new Floral Tea stamp set from MarkÂ’s Fines t Papers. I stamped the stacked teacups and cut off the bottom cup to use with the teapot. I stamped the images in AdirondackÂ’s Pitch Black and colored in with Copics. (The base paper and paper I used for the images is Classic Flax.)
Finished card size: 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Total time to complete: 42 minutes.

Very sumptuous! Sorry you're so busy (but that's GOOD for the business, right?). It's a double-edged sword for sure. This must have cheered you up though, such a great card
