Phydeaux was a Creole speaking mutt that a Miami cop named Alex rescued from Haiti. Street-smart, Phydeaux didn't have the respect of the rest of the force until his bilingual abilities helped him to infiltrate the Top Dog's Fine Haitian Catnip cartel. After the bust went down, Phydeaux wanted to transfer into Vice, but because of budget cuts there were no open positions in that division. To throw him a bone the commissioner offered Phydeaux a slot in the Tetrapod Emigration Agency (T.E.A. to those in the know). Now everyone knows that illegals are a huge problem in south Florida, what with boa constrictors, piranhas, and all sorts of non-native vermin. T.E.A. focuses on the four legged variety. Phydeaux knows that keeping his ears cocked and maintaining good relationships with the locals is crucial to success in his career - but this is no cushy job. At the end of his shift, dog tired he goes home and studies dog-eared copies of mammalian identification books and brushes up on furry facts. If you are lucky enough to be able to visit Miami, know that you are safe from illegal predators, even in the dog days of summer.
For the card, I rocked and rolled the tree stamp with soft suede and Memento bamboo leaves, stamped once, then stamped the bench, masked that then stamped the R&R'd Tree again. Stamped then cut out the dog from one of the Thankful Thoughts stamps and applied flocking powder. Used the sides of Copic brush tips of various neutrals to make the path. Stamped then cut another bench and popped up both cutouts on dimensionals. Stamped the sentiment from Flourishes Taglines and popped that. Applied all on a Crushed Curry card that had been run through the Tim Holtz - sunny Floridian ;) folder.
Thank you for your warm welcome last week, and thanks for looking today. Have a peaceful day.

Brilliant story, it made me laugh. Phydeaux had me flummoxed till I pronounced it, but I can even here the accent now . Great use of the ef on the card, too.
