-After the image was colored with Prismacolor pencils I masked off across the panel to sponge on clouds (using my handmade template) and kept the sponge away from the image. If youÂ’d like the cloud template pattern click on my blog link below and a fast link to a pattern is under tutorials.
-The snowflakes are punched from an EK Success border punch, when I want just the snowflake I cut ½” strips and place the end of the strip into the punch at the snowflake design as I’m looking at the bottom of the punch and glue it to the card.
-A large straight pin works great to pick up the snowflake and place on the card. Squeeze out glue to a non porous surface, (I repurpose sticker paper), touch the pin to the glue then to the back of the snowflake which picks it up, now place on the card and press down with the finger as you pull the pin away. Very fast and easy! It took less than a minute to place those snowflakes and I also use this technique for placing embellishments like the nailheads, pearls and gems.
-A drop of Stickles was added to the center of each snowflake.
-Flower Soft was attached with Aleene's tacky glue, using the same procedure I covered a 1/4" punched circle for the snowball in his hand and attached with glue to the card.
