I made two cards for CAS101...A Day in the Snow challenge. I am from Buffalo, NY...lived there for the first 30 years of my life. Snow...well, it's the way of life, there. The last time I went home for Christmas was in 2001, when 80" of snow fell in 3 days! My children and I were snowed in for a week at my sister's house, while she was in NYC seeing a play. My mom and dad braved the storm and tobogganed food, games and outdoor wear to us. It was an incredibly wonderfully memorable time...but now...I choose to stay in VA, and when it snows...as it did a couple weeks ago (and a whopping 14" for here!!)...I just get a big cup of coffee and spend time looking out the window at it!!
Thanks for listening!!
I made both cards snow with an embossing folder that I brayered with baja breeze. I layered the snowman on the first one...stamping him(or parts of him) 3 times for his nose and scarf(with SU dp). The sentiment is a combo of a Hero Arts piece of a stamp and the "wonderful" is from PTI. The window was 4 punched 1 3/8" squares with a brown layer behind. I edited this card, stamped branch and used white gel pen for snow on the branches. I don't really have any snow sentiments, but used a sentiment from Inkadinkado for this card.
Last time I used this ef, I had alot of questions about where to get it, so if you're interested, here's the link: http://cropstop.com/index.php?main_p...oducts_id=4114
Thanks for looking and reading!! Have a great Monday!!

And this is how I 'do' winter!!! How wonderfully creative. Your pair of cards and your writeup are fantastic. Love it... (the cards, not winter...)!
