Well Millie and Lillie are finally on their way. They tried to convince Aunt Tillie to come along, but she got so many Red Hats from Santa she couldn't make up her mind. And, well, Millie and Lillie know that it took Aunt Tillie 20 years to decide on a color for Uncle Billie to paint the kitchen, and the girls didn't want to wait that long. Afterall, they know they are going to have some stiff competition from all the other ladies who are already there - they are hoping to make a grand entrance being "fashionably" late. BTW, the girls only want tea, no cookies, please. They had so much nog with their egg they are afraid just one cookie and they will pop all their buttons.

Cute story and great card! Those are some elegant ladies you brought along! You'd never know by looking at them that they were about to pop their buttons from too much nog!

Millie and Lillie are all decked out for sure, heads will turn, Matt, Jed, and Bob may even shed a tear.
These are two wonderful looking ladies, all dressed for the party! I'm really loving all these wonderful old styles and the memories that they bring to mind! This looks like an old time sister portrait. Put white hair on these ladies, and it could be Joyce and her sister!
