What a happy milestone, Color Challenge!! Today is the 300th color challenge and to celebrate we were to choose a color combo from the list of previous 299 challenges. I went with CC182--monochromatic. I have really been diggin' monochromatic projects lately!! I went with all reds (with white) for this one.
This project features a brand new set from Mark's Finest Papers called Hearts, Hearts, Hearts. It is being released today along with three other new sets this week.
After Valentine's Day last year, I snapped up a few mini heart-shaped boxes of Russell Stover chocolates on clearance as a little treat for my family. After we had devoured the goodies, I saved the empty boxes. Perfect for altering! I dressed up one of these heart boxes in red and white and filled it with heart-shaped tags. These little tags would be super as gift tags or for dropping into a loved one's packed lunch, backpack, briefcase, purse, or suitcase as a little surprise to let someone know how much he or she is loved!!
Paper: My Mind's Eye Magnolia Collection DP, CS from The Paper Company
Ink: ColorBox frost white
Accessories: EK chain of hearts edge punch, CM 1.5" heart punch, SU wide heart punch, SU jewelry tag punch, scissors, white EP, red/white baker's twine, buttons from my stash, sparkly white heart brad from the Target Dollar Spot

Man, you are so smart and creative Emzi. That box is pure perfection and your use of the buttons are amazing. I haven't saved my boxes, but maybe I should have. Then, I could send them to you to make me this creation!! LOL!! TFS!
