Sorry, not much from me, except a history lesson. We got some bad news about our dog yesterday & I've been a little down since. There's a strong probability that she has bladder cancer & there is nothing they can do for her. Anyway, onto this card.
I d/l this from the internet (copyright has expired, so OK there) this photo from the original production of the Nutcracker. It was performed at the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, December 1892. Each time I saw the Cleveland production I was always in awe of the growning Christmas tree. I used some hoarded currency green sent to me by the Devine Miss M, aka StampMuse, Emily. I trimmed out the tree after embossing.
The Nutcracker Suite is one of my favorite pieces of music.

Karen, I am so sorry to hear the bad news about your dog. I have been there and know the hurt. Maybe you will get better news and it won't be as bad as you think. Such a pretty tree and the challenge really sounded like fun. I really am missing Miss M.
