Dawn's challenge today was to be inspired by the Nutcracker Suite. So - not a major player, but if my memory serves me correctly, and it should as I gave a beautifully illustrated book to my niece last Christmas and read it before I sent it to her, Harlequin and Columbine feature. Perfect opportunity to use this Judikins Harlequin that Anne sent me in exchange for the Diva Chef. Thanks to Anne's generosity I was able to experiment with colour schemes; in Anne's honour I worked with the RED one for this card .
A2 matt gold base. Print Pattern stamped and embossed with gold and then sponged with Barn Door distress ink. I coloured the image with H2Os, a silver pen for the flute and Stickles on the ruff. He's standing on Music Notes stamped with Brilliance Peacock. Layered up on more of the matt gold. I made a ribbon rose from metallic gold ribbon with a red gem brad for the centre, and added some leaves punched from white and sponged with the Brilliance Peacock.
