I had just finished my card earlier this evening, which just happened to be inspired by Sarah's beautiful CAS card Sparkling Winter Skies by criminalgrace at Splitcoaststampers
When I went online to check the FS forum...what a happy coincidence, Sarah (Criminalgrace) was chosen as this weeks' FS. I couldn't have planned it any better if I had tried!! I just love all the cards in Sarah's gallery, but I the simplicity of this snowflake beauty just caught my eye...
I kept the same layout, added an extra layer, changed up the color scheme, added bakers twine, sponged and faux stitched the edges

I love this fun card. I love the card you CASE'd. I love how you changed it up to make it your own. Great colors. I love the sponging and the fun twine! Really great!

This is marvelous. The red/white polka-dot snowflake looks great, and your distressing of the paper makes such a soft look -- almost like soft leather.
