Hurray.....playing my favorite challenge....Roxie's Sketch Challenge! After a long great fall vacation I am finally getting into the swing of stamping again. Thanks Roxie for a fun and challenging layout. I think I ended up with about 12 layers and used several different sheets of SU Woodland Walk DP. I also used watercolor spritzing for the main image. I inked the image with Garden Green and then spritzed with 91% alcohol onto watercolor paper (very important). That makes the ink really spread. The blue tinge along the stem was from the garden green ink bleeding. I then inked my stamp again with garden green and stamped directly over the 1st image using my stampamajig. That gives the image more detail and depth.
I used the new 3/4" oval punch for the sentiment, and also framed the sentiment with 2 garden green CS punched ovals. I used another V Vanilla oval tab under the ribbon tab.
The rest of the card is just lots of layering. Enjoy and TFL......

Beautiful monochromatic card, Nancy! I love the main leaf image! I've never spritzed with alcohol--what a great look. The oval behind the ribbon tab really makes it stand out.

Lucky me to have received this in the mail and now I get to view it in person. The layout is so wonderful - I will be casing it for sure. And I can't believe it is all in green which is my fav color! You are so sweet for sending this to me after my little clash with the deer! This is a special card!
