This is for today's CAS challenge to use the faux letterpress technique - lucky for me, I just received in the mail today the lattice embossing folder from SC friend Lisa (lisaadd) and was delighted with the results using the Soft Suede ink pad before running through the cuttlebug. It's my new favorite embossing folder, I love it! I then cut an oval and sponged while still in the die for stamping the little bird and sentiment - for the bird I used SU markers to get the two colors. I stamped a bird cage and cut it out from the Aviary set (also from Lisa!), popping it up on the oval. I added several small gems on the birdcage which look pinker than they are, they actually match cherry cobbler well.

Oh, this turned out beautifully. You achieved a wonderful faux letterpress look--one that I couldn't! I love the great colors you chose for this, too
